Terms of service

Last updated: September 8, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, online store, products, content, features, and services provided under the Clean Shoes Club™ brand.

Clean Shoes Club™ is operated by Phiera LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Clean Shoes Club,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By visiting our website, placing an order, creating an account, communicating with us, or otherwise using our services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and by any policies referenced in them, including our Refund & Return Policy, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Contact Information.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Services or place an order.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer right that cannot legally be excluded, restricted, or waived under applicable law.

1. Our Online Store

Our online store is hosted through Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to offer products and Services to customers.

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not use our website, products, Services, systems, or content for fraudulent, unlawful, abusive, harmful, or unauthorized purposes.

You may not attempt to interfere with the operation, security, accessibility, or integrity of the Services.

2. Eligibility

By using the Services or placing an order, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.

If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required.

3. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our products accurately.

However, product appearance may vary slightly due to differences in:

  • screens and displays;
  • lighting;
  • photography;
  • manufacturing batches;
  • materials;
  • packaging;
  • product updates;
  • and other production-related factors.

Minor variations that do not materially affect product function are not necessarily defects.

We may update product descriptions, specifications, packaging, features, instructions, prices, or other information where reasonably necessary.

4. Product Availability

Products are subject to availability.

We reserve the right to:

  • limit quantities;
  • discontinue products;
  • modify products;
  • restrict sales;
  • refuse or cancel orders;
  • or limit availability by customer, geographic region, jurisdiction, or other reasonable criteria.

We do not guarantee that every product displayed on our website will remain continuously available.

5. Orders

Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we are required to accept it.

We may refuse or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including:

  • suspected fraud;
  • payment issues;
  • inventory errors;
  • pricing errors;
  • fulfillment limitations;
  • shipping restrictions;
  • misuse of promotions;
  • unusually large or suspicious orders;
  • duplicate orders;
  • or errors in product information.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected and the order has not otherwise been fulfilled, we will issue an appropriate refund.

6. Pricing

Prices are displayed in the currency shown during checkout.

Prices may change without notice before an order is placed.

Once an order has been validly accepted, the applicable price is generally the price shown at checkout, subject to obvious technical, typographical, or pricing errors.

If a product is accidentally displayed at an obviously incorrect price, we may cancel the affected order and refund the amount paid.

7. Taxes, Duties, and Customs

Depending on the destination and applicable law, orders may be subject to sales tax, VAT, GST, import duties, customs fees, brokerage charges, or similar governmental charges.

Where taxes are collected at checkout, they will be shown where applicable.

Where import duties or other charges are not collected in advance, the customer may be responsible for those charges unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Customs procedures may also affect delivery times.

8. Payment

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate payment and billing information.

Payments may be processed by Shopify, Shopify Payments, card networks, banks, digital wallet providers, or other third-party payment providers.

We do not generally receive or store full payment-card credentials.

A payment may be declined or reviewed by a payment provider, bank, fraud-prevention system, or card issuer independently of Clean Shoes Club™.

9. Fraud Prevention

We may use fraud-prevention tools and payment-risk systems to review transactions.

In appropriate circumstances, we may request additional information before fulfilling an order.

We reserve the right to cancel orders that we reasonably believe are fraudulent, unauthorized, abusive, or otherwise create unacceptable risk.

10. Order Changes and Cancellations

Our fulfillment process may begin shortly after an order is placed.

Cancellation or modification requests should therefore be submitted within 30 minutes after purchase.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests received during that period, but cancellation is not guaranteed if fulfillment has already begun.

Once an order has entered fulfillment, received a tracking number, or been dispatched, it may no longer be possible to cancel or modify the order.

After delivery, eligible returns are governed by our Refund & Return Policy.

11. Shipping

Delivery dates and shipping timeframes shown on our website are estimates unless expressly identified as guaranteed.

Delivery times may be affected by:

  • carriers;
  • customs;
  • weather;
  • local postal conditions;
  • transportation disruptions;
  • peak-season volume;
  • fulfillment delays;
  • security checks;
  • natural disasters;
  • strikes;
  • governmental actions;
  • and other circumstances outside our direct control.

Shipping and delivery matters are further governed by our Shipping Policy.

12. Tracking and Delivery

Where available, customers will receive tracking information after an order is dispatched.

Tracking systems are operated by third-party carriers and may not always update in real time.

If carrier records confirm that an order was delivered to the address supplied by the customer, the order will generally be treated as delivered, subject to the investigation procedures described in our Refund & Return Policy and applicable law.

Customers are responsible for providing a safe and accurate delivery address.

13. Incorrect Addresses

You are responsible for checking your shipping information before completing checkout.

If an incomplete or incorrect address is provided, contact us as soon as possible.

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after fulfillment begins.

Where an order is returned, delayed, lost, or otherwise affected because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete address, additional costs may apply where legally permitted.

This does not apply where the error was caused by us or our fulfillment partner.

14. Third-Party Fulfillment

We may use third-party suppliers, manufacturers, fulfillment centers, warehouses, logistics providers, and shipping carriers to process and deliver orders.

Products may be stored, processed, or shipped from locations outside the customer's country.

Using third-party fulfillment providers does not change the customer's contractual relationship with Clean Shoes Club™ where Clean Shoes Club™ is the seller.

15. Product Purpose

Clean Shoes Club™ shoe-washing products and accessories are designed to assist with footwear care and washing.

A washing bag is not itself a detergent, stain remover, bleaching agent, restoration treatment, or professional cleaning service.

Its purpose is primarily to help contain footwear and reduce certain forms of direct movement, friction, and impact during the washing process when used appropriately.

16. Cleaning Results

Cleaning results vary.

We do not guarantee that:

  • every stain will be removed;
  • every shoe will become completely white;
  • old discoloration will disappear;
  • permanent stains will be removed;
  • damaged footwear will be restored;
  • or every pair will appear factory-new after washing.

Results may depend on footwear material, age, construction, colorfastness, stain type, detergent, washing machine, temperature, wash program, previous treatments, and many other factors.

Customer expectations that exceed the performance reasonably described on our website do not, by themselves, mean that the product is defective.

17. Footwear Manufacturer Instructions

Always review the care instructions supplied by the footwear manufacturer before machine washing footwear.

Not all footwear is machine washable.

Using a Clean Shoes Club™ product does not override the instructions, warnings, or limitations issued by the footwear manufacturer.

If a manufacturer advises against machine washing, the use of a washing bag does not make that footwear suitable for machine washing.

18. Sensitive Footwear Materials

Certain materials and constructions may be sensitive to water, detergent, heat, agitation, or machine washing.

These may include, among others:

  • leather;
  • suede;
  • nubuck;
  • non-colorfast textiles;
  • specialty finishes;
  • aged adhesives;
  • glued decorations;
  • delicate foams;
  • ornaments;
  • coatings;
  • and other specialty materials.

Customers should determine whether their footwear is appropriate for machine washing before use.

19. Improper Use

You agree to use our products in accordance with supplied instructions and with reasonable care.

Improper use may include:

  • washing footwear that is not suitable for machine washing;
  • ignoring footwear manufacturer instructions;
  • using unsuitable detergents;
  • using bleach, solvents, or harsh chemicals where inappropriate;
  • overloading the product;
  • failing to secure closures correctly;
  • using excessively harsh washing programs;
  • placing sharp or abrasive items in the product;
  • modifying the product;
  • or using it in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose.

Unless expressly permitted by the relevant care instructions, the product or footwear should not be placed in a tumble dryer or other heated drying appliance.

20. Temperature and Machine Settings

Where specific washing temperatures, spin speeds, or other technical limits are provided in product instructions, customers should follow those limits.

Where no specific value is provided, customers should use reasonable settings consistent with the footwear manufacturer's care instructions.

We do not guarantee compatibility with every washing machine, cycle, temperature, or footwear type.

21. Dye and Color Transfer

Footwear and textile products can sometimes release or transfer dye during washing.

If you believe a Clean Shoes Club™ product has transferred color to footwear or other property, stop using the product and contact us promptly.

Claims involving alleged dye transfer may require documentation, photographs, washing information, detergent information, footwear details, and other evidence reasonably necessary to investigate the issue.

Submitting a claim does not constitute automatic acceptance that our product caused the alleged transfer.

22. Damage to Footwear

The use of our products cannot eliminate every risk associated with machine washing footwear.

Factors unrelated to the washing bag itself may cause damage, including:

  • pre-existing deterioration;
  • weak adhesives;
  • inappropriate material;
  • high temperature;
  • incompatible detergent;
  • unsuitable machine settings;
  • color instability;
  • age;
  • prior damage;
  • or washing footwear contrary to manufacturer instructions.

Claims involving footwear damage will be reviewed individually.

The fact that a Clean Shoes Club™ product was present during a wash does not, by itself, establish that the product caused the alleged damage.

23. Product Defects

If a product arrives damaged or develops a genuine manufacturing defect, customers should follow the procedures described in our Refund & Return Policy.

A manufacturing defect does not include ordinary wear and tear, misuse, improper washing, accidental damage, customer modification, or deterioration arising from normal repeated use.

24. Returns and Refunds

Returns, refunds, damaged-item claims, defect claims, wrong-item claims, and similar requests are governed by our Refund & Return Policy.

Standard change-of-mind returns generally require the product to remain unused and eligible under the applicable return conditions.

Used products are not automatically refundable simply because the customer later changes their mind, no longer wishes to use the product, believes they paid too much, or is personally dissatisfied with the result.

Please review the complete Refund & Return Policy before ordering.

25. Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotions, discount codes, bundle offers, free gifts, and other promotional benefits may be subject to additional terms.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • promotions cannot be combined;
  • discounts cannot be applied retroactively;
  • promotions may expire;
  • eligibility may be limited;
  • and we may withdraw or correct a promotion affected by error or abuse.

26. Bundles

Products may be sold in discounted multi-unit bundles.

If a partial return from a bundle is accepted, the refund may be recalculated based on the actual pricing applicable to the products retained.

A customer may not necessarily retain a bundle-level discount after returning part of the bundle.

27. Reviews and User Content

You may have the opportunity to submit reviews, photographs, videos, comments, testimonials, or other content.

You remain responsible for the content you submit.

You must not submit content that is:

  • false or misleading;
  • defamatory;
  • unlawful;
  • threatening;
  • hateful;
  • obscene;
  • infringing;
  • fraudulent;
  • or violative of another person's privacy or intellectual property rights.

Subject to applicable law and the terms shown when content is submitted, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display, reproduce, adapt, distribute, and use submitted reviews and related content in connection with our website, marketing, advertising, and business operations.

We may moderate or remove content where appropriate.

28. Intellectual Property

The Clean Shoes Club™ name, branding, logos, designs, website content, copy, graphics, photographs, videos, layouts, product presentation, and other original materials may be protected by trademark, copyright, trade dress, or other intellectual property laws.

Unless expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, exploit, scrape, republish, or commercially use our intellectual property without permission.

29. Third-Party Intellectual Property

Third-party trademarks, brand names, product names, or references may belong to their respective owners.

A reference to a third-party footwear brand does not necessarily imply sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, partnership, or approval by that brand.

30. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • use the Services unlawfully;
  • attempt unauthorized access;
  • introduce viruses or malicious code;
  • interfere with website security;
  • scrape or harvest information unlawfully;
  • impersonate another person;
  • submit fraudulent payment information;
  • abuse discounts or refund policies;
  • submit false claims;
  • manipulate reviews;
  • infringe intellectual property rights;
  • or otherwise misuse the Services.

We may restrict or terminate access where serious abuse occurs.

31. Third-Party Services

Certain parts of the Services may depend on third-party platforms or providers, including Shopify, payment processors, carriers, review platforms, analytics providers, and other technology services.

We are not responsible for the independent operation of third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Third parties may have their own terms and privacy practices.

32. Website Availability

We aim to keep our website available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

The website may occasionally be unavailable due to:

  • maintenance;
  • technical issues;
  • third-party outages;
  • updates;
  • security events;
  • internet failures;
  • or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

33. Errors and Inaccuracies

Our website may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions concerning product descriptions, prices, promotions, availability, shipping, or other information.

We may correct errors and update information where necessary.

Where an error materially affects an order already placed, we may contact the customer and provide an appropriate resolution.

34. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and except for warranties or obligations that cannot legally be excluded, the Services and products are provided subject to the descriptions, policies, and conditions made available at the time of purchase.

We do not make warranties beyond those expressly stated or legally required.

We do not guarantee that use of our products will produce identical results for every customer or every pair of footwear.

35. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Clean Shoes Club™, Phiera LLC, and their respective officers, members, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Services or products.

This may include, where legally permitted:

  • loss of profits;
  • loss of revenue;
  • loss of data;
  • loss of business opportunity;
  • or similar consequential loss.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

36. Product-Related Property Claims

Claims involving alleged damage to footwear or other property are reviewed according to the specific facts and evidence available.

We do not automatically assume responsibility solely because our product was used at the time of an incident.

Where permitted by law, our liability may be reduced or excluded to the extent the loss resulted from:

  • misuse;
  • failure to follow instructions;
  • unsuitable footwear;
  • customer negligence;
  • pre-existing damage;
  • improper washing;
  • unsuitable detergent;
  • excessive heat;
  • inappropriate machine settings;
  • or other factors outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

37. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Phiera LLC, Clean Shoes Club™, and their affiliates, officers, agents, contractors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, violation of these Terms, infringement of third-party rights, or fraudulent conduct.

This provision does not apply to liabilities that legally cannot be shifted to a consumer.

38. Privacy

Our collection and processing of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how information is collected, used, disclosed, and protected.

39. Electronic Communications

By using the Services, you consent to receive transaction-related communications electronically where permitted.

These may include:

  • order confirmations;
  • shipping updates;
  • refund information;
  • account notices;
  • support messages;
  • and legally required communications.

Marketing communications are subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

40. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you experience a problem with an order, we encourage you to contact us first so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

If a payment dispute or chargeback is opened, we may provide relevant evidence to payment processors, card networks, issuing banks, acquiring banks, or other financial institutions.

This may include:

  • order records;
  • product descriptions;
  • policy disclosures;
  • checkout information;
  • tracking information;
  • delivery confirmation;
  • customer communications;
  • photographs;
  • refund records;
  • and other relevant documentation.

Nothing in this section prevents a customer from exercising lawful payment-dispute rights.

41. Force Majeure

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events reasonably outside our control.

These may include:

  • natural disasters;
  • severe weather;
  • war;
  • civil unrest;
  • governmental restrictions;
  • epidemics or pandemics;
  • carrier disruptions;
  • labor disputes;
  • infrastructure failures;
  • cyber incidents;
  • customs disruptions;
  • or widespread transportation interruptions.

This does not affect any mandatory consumer remedies that apply despite such events.

42. Informal Dispute Resolution

Before initiating formal litigation or arbitration, you and Clean Shoes Club™ agree to make reasonable, good-faith efforts to resolve the dispute informally.

The party raising the dispute should send written notice to:

support@cleanshoesclub.com

The notice should include:

  • a brief description of the dispute;
  • the relevant order number, if applicable;
  • the requested resolution;
  • the customer's name;
  • and reasonable contact information.

The parties will have 30 calendar days after receipt of the notice to attempt to resolve the dispute informally before formal proceedings are initiated, unless applicable law requires otherwise or immediate legal relief is reasonably necessary.

Any contractual limitations period established by these Terms will be tolled during this 30-day informal resolution period.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or similar relief where reasonably necessary to prevent immediate or irreparable harm.

43. Time Limitation on Certain Claims

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any contractual claim arising from the purchase or sale of products, including a claim for breach of contract or breach of warranty, must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim accrued.

If such a contractual claim is not commenced within that period, it may be barred to the extent permitted by applicable law.

This limitation does not apply to any claim, statutory right, consumer-protection right, or other cause of action for which applicable law prohibits contractual shortening of the applicable limitations period.

The 30-day informal dispute-resolution period described in Section 42 will not count against this contractual limitations period.

44. Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the Services are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of another jurisdiction apply and cannot legally be waived.

45. Jurisdiction

Subject to applicable mandatory consumer law, disputes arising from these Terms or the Services may be brought before courts having appropriate jurisdiction in Wyoming, United States.

Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from exercising any non-waivable right to bring a claim in another jurisdiction where applicable law provides that right.

46. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce it later.

A waiver of one provision or one instance of enforcement does not constitute a continuing waiver unless expressly stated.

47. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent legally permitted.

The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

48. Assignment

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent where such consent may legally be required.

We may transfer our rights and obligations in connection with a merger, reorganization, sale, acquisition, corporate restructuring, financing, transfer of business assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.

49. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Return Policy, Shipping Policy, and other policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement governing your use of the Services and purchases from us.

They supersede prior or contemporaneous communications relating to the same subject matter to the extent permitted by law.

50. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products, Services, operations, technology, policies, or legal requirements.

Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes will generally apply prospectively except where applicable law permits or requires otherwise.
